Applications for Pacific ICT Awards are now open

Following the announcement of ICT Days 2019 by the Office of the Prime Minister of Vanuatu earlier this week, the applications for the 6 Pacific ICT Awards are now open until 19 April 2019.

The Pacific ICT Awards aim at recognising and promoting outstanding ICT solutions and applications to encourage innovation and excellence among Pacific's ICT talents and organizations. Pacific ICT Awards' purpose is to inspire individuals and organizations in constantly searching for creative and better solutions to meet business and social needs. 

Steered and organized by the government of Vanuatu through the Office of the Government Chief Information Officer (OGCIO) & the office of the Telecommunication, Radiocommunication & Broadcasting Regulator(TRBR) in collaboration with the Vanuatu Internet Governance Forum (VanIGF) and the University of the South Pacific’s Emalus Campus, the ICT Awards aim at building a regionally supported and internationally acclaimed brand of ICT awards. 

The ICT Days 2019 is now calling for interests from all ICT businesses in the Pacific.  

Six awards will be handed out to the winners during the Pacific ICT Award Ceremony on Friday 17 May 2019:

- 2019 Best Innovation Award

- 2019 Best Digital Inclusion Award

- 2019 Best Business Solution Award

- 2019 Best ICT Entrepreneurship Award

- 2019 Digital Leader Award 

- 2019 Best Customer Service Award
