Business Link Pacific Online Portal Vanuatu launch

Business Link Pacific (BLP), with the support of the Vanuatu Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) is officially launching the Business Link Pacific Portal to Vanuatu’s business community Thursday.

The free business networking event will be held at the Vanuatu Convention Centre from 3pm-6pm. 

Guest of Honour, Jonathan Schwass, New Zealand High Commissioner to Vanuatu will officially launch the Business Link Pacific Portal.

The BLP portal is an innovative online platform designed to connect quality business advisors with small and medium-sized growing businesses in the Pacific.

A series of short ten minute high impact talks on topical issues for small and medium sized businesses will be presented by Vanuatu business leaders and will include a panel Q&A discussion led by Howard Aru.

Presentations are from:

 ●Shaun Gilchrist, President of the Vanuatu Chamber of Commerce and Industry –  A round up of Vanuatu’s “hot button” issues & impact on Vanuatu’s SMEs

● Jack Loughman, General Manager of the Vanuatu Cooperative Business Network –  Innovative SME business models: cooperatives & public private partnerships

● Votausi Mckenzie-Reur, Managing Director of the Lapita Café – The recipe for SME success in Vanuatu

● Glen Craig, Chairperson of the Vanuatu Business Resilience Council  – Are you prepared for disaster?

SME business resilience Vanuatu’s small and medium sized businesses will have the opportunity to see how the new BLP online portal works and meet BLP representatives, followed by an informal networking session with BLP accredited business advisors complete with kava, finger food and drinks until 6pm.

The launch is part of a Pacific wide launch of the Portal, with BLP co-hosting four special launch events in Fiji, Vanuatu, Papua New Guinea and Samoa on the 1st and 2nd of August 2019.

BLP are expecting up to 1000 businesses to attend across the four countries, making it a one of a kind opportunity to network and get up to date on business trends and topical issues.
