ANZ Regional Executive for Pacific, Tessa Price, said: “Just six months ago we were the first bank to introduce a Pacific-wide mobile banking app. Since then, more than 16,000 people across the Pacific, including Fiji, have been using our ANZ Pacific App.
“In that time, we’ve seen a 120% increase in the value of transfers made using the ANZ Pacific App. We know this figure will continue to grow as smartphone use increases across the region and more of our customers choose digital banking.”
ANZ Fiji Country Head, Saud Minam, said: “We are pleased to take an industry leadership position in driving digital here in Fiji. More than 65% of our Internet Banking customers are now using the ANZ Pacific App.
