Miss Pacific Islands 2016 crowned

Miss Fiji 2016 Anne Christine Dunn has been crowned Miss Pacific Islands 2016.

She has taken over the crown and title from Miss PNG 2015, Abigail Havora.

The 24 year old is a Law Graduate from the University of South Pacific.

She was among 7 other contestants who arrived in Samoa last week for the annual pageant.

Her win is timely, with Fiji being the host country of next year’s Miss Pacific Islands Pageant.

Miss American Samoa - Antonina Keka Lilomaiava was the first runner-up, Miss Solomon Islands - Camilla Grossmith second runner-up, Miss Samoa - Priscilla Olano and fourth runner-up Cook Islands - Tepaeru Helen Toka.

Other awards according to Miss Pacific Islands pageant:

Best Traditional Wear - Miss Fiji, Best Sarong - Miss American Samoa, Miss Internet – Nauru, Miss Personality – Samoa, Miss Photogenic - Miss Tonga, National Tourism Award - Miss American Samoa, Best Talent - Solomon Islands and Best Interview – Fiji.
