Children's creativity on display in drawing competition

The first five winners of school kits for the Digicel Drawing Competition have been named.

The competition was launched by Digicel Vanuatu and Van2017 on Monday 20th March 2017 which has been warmly welcomed by kids across Vanuatu who have been inspired to draw a creative picture of their favorite Van 2017 mascot, Nasi, the friendly, lovable and social bird.

In the first draw on Saturday 22nd April, the children and their families were more than happy to share a special moment with Nasi.

Digicel Vanuatu CEO, Yaser Maher, said; “We have been pleasantly surprised by the first set of drawings received. The creativity and talent displayed is absolutely fantastic! With that, we have decided to extend the competition until 18th May 2017 to give more kids and schools the opportunity to enter the competition. We are looking forward to receiving more creative drawings.”

Joshua, Jay, Ayla & Kieven, Junior and Rosaline, the first weekly winners of the school kits, will have to be a little bit more patient to know the winner of the Alcatel Pixi 4 7 inch tablet.

Kids under 18 years old are encouraged to draw Nasi holding a phone to get a chance to walk away with an Alcatel Pixi 4 7-inch tablet or be one of the weekly winners of a school kit.

The drawings can be submitted at the Digicel Store in Port Vila and Luganville or sent to PO box 9103, Port Vila, Vanuatu.
