Eels sign former Fiji high school U18 centre

NRL club Parramatta Eels has signed 18 year-old Fiji high school rugby player, Solomoni Naiduki on a three-year contract.

The Eels believed they have signed a powerhouse winger who they hope could develop into the next Semi Radradra.

9 News.com reports, the club has missed Radradra’s pace and power since he defected to European rugby union.

The former Ratu Kadavulevu School student who prefers playing in the centres, Naiduki is rated as one of the best finishers in Fijian schoolboy rugby in recent years.

Local rugby authorities were fuming at his decision to defect to the league and he is expected to learn his craft on the wing with the Eels.
