Three airports in Vanuatu - Port Vila's Bauerfield, Pekoa in Santo, and Whitegrass on Tanna, have begun implementing the new ID check policy as of this month.
The airline is giving remote islanders a grace period until the 30th of June to obtain their ID card which should be presented at any domestic airport before boarding a flight.
