Kapi Natto: Hekari players withdrawing from Kapuls squad

This comes after the news was made official yesterday of Hekari’s withdrawal from the semi-professional Telikom National Soccer League (NSL) competition.

“As a manager, I have been communicating with them. To be honest with you, they sympathise with us. They said if we can start again, that’s fine. We can build another organisation.

"To be honest with you, the majority of them are withdrawing,” said Kapi Natto.

She said the current PNG Kapuls squad has current and former Hekari players totalling up to 14 players.

Hekari United FC pulls out of NSL competition

This was announced today by Chairman of Hekari, John Kapi Natto.

“Today, Hekari has officially resigned from the NSL,” said Kapi Natto.

Hekari Soccer Association was one of seven associations that were recently suspended by the PNG Football Association.

This was questioned by Kapi Natto who made the decision to withdraw Hekari- the nine-time winners of the NSL title from the semi-professional competition.

He added that Hekari will not take part in the  Oceania Football Confederation Champions League in 2017 in New Caledonia.
