Three contested Michael Jackson songs removed from streaming services

Monster, Keep Your Head Up and Breaking News all featured on the posthumous 2010 compilation album Michael.

They have since been the subject of a court case brought by a fan, who claims the vocals are by a session singer.

Sony Music and Jackson's estate said their removal from streaming sites had nothing to do with their authenticity.

In a statement, they described the action as "the simplest and best way to move beyond the conversation associated with these tracks once and for all".

A Los Angeles judge ruled on Monday that Wade Robson cannot sue Jackson's businesses over the childhood sexual abuse he allegedly suffered.

Robson, whose accusations featured in the documentary Leaving Neverland, is expected to appeal the decision.

Last year, the same judge ruled against fellow accuser James Safechuck on similar grounds.

In the wake of the accusations of child molestation leveled at the King Of Pop in explosive documentary Leaving Neverland, video of Jackson's strange outing with the child has gone viral.

The archived news clip shows the 'Thriller' singer wearing a wig, cap and faux moustache while chaperoning the boy, reportedly alleged sexual abuse victim James Safechuck, around the store.

The report at the time suggested Jackson could have been shopping for an engagement ring to propose to Sheryl Crow, his backup singer.

However, Macaulay Culkin - known for his unlikely friendship with the pop star, which began when Mr Culkin was nine - has consistently spoken out in defence of Jackson, and denied there was any sexual contact.

Most recently, he spoke about the allegations on Michael Rosenbaum's Inside of You podcast in January 2019.

"For me, it's so normal and mundane... I know it's a big deal to everyone else but to me, it was a normal friendship," the now-38-year-old said.

Wade Robson, 36, told the BBC's Victoria Derbyshire programme the singer had sexually abused him from the age of seven and tried to rape him when he was 14.

James Safechuck, 40, told the programme Jackson had sexually abused him "from the age of 10 until around 14".

Jackson's family say there's "not one piece of evidence" to prove the claims.

The two men have also spoken out in the documentary Leaving Neverland.

The trailer for the project -- released Wednesday -- has done little to assuage that furor.

"Urban Myths" tells a series of stories, including a fabled one in which Jackson, Elizabeth Taylor (played by Stockard Channing) and Marlon Brando (played by Brian Cox) supposedly took a cross-country road trip after 9/11.

The trailer has Twitter beside itself.
