Principal, Sarah Chambers said “I am thrilled to announce that an amazing young ni-Vanuatu woman, Raine Kalotiti is the recipient of the new 3-year scholarship provided through the very generous support of the Kotara Community of Schools in Newcastle, NSW, Australia.”

When announced, Raine said “I cried with joy and then went for a swim in the ocean before I could believe it was real. An opportunity like this is amazing and I am so grateful to the Kotara Community for providing this for me.”

New three-year PVIS Senior Secondary Scholarship announced

The international school is encouraging prospective local senior secondary students to register now to attend the PVIS Senior Secondary Scholarship Day on Friday 23 November to be considered for this fantastic opportunity.

“Thanks to the very generous support of the Kotara Community of Schools in Newcastle, NSW, Australia, we are now seeking applications from academically exceptional students interested in completing their schooling at Port Vila International School,” PVIS Principal, Sarah Chambers.

New initiatives for 2018 include a strategic collaboration with Australian Pacific Technical College (APTC) to provide professional development and training opportunities for all PVIS locally employed Teaching Assistant staff, and providing school placements for APTC Certificate III students at the international school.
