Fury accepts WWE challenge

McIntyre defeated Lesnar at WrestleMania 36 and called out WBC heavyweight champion Fury after his historic victory.

In response, Fury ridiculed Lesnar, whose actual age is 42, and claimed he would have "set about" both wrestlers had he not been prevented from attending the event due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Fury has appeared in WWE before, defeating Braun Strowman at the company's Crown Jewel show in Saudi Arabia last October.

He thinks that experience will stand him in good stead to take on McIntyre, who became the first British world champion in WWE history.

WWE announces return to Kiwi shores later this year

WWE announced today it will be bring WWE Live to Spark Arena on August 8.

It's the first time a WWE event will be in New Zealand since Christchurch hosted one in 2017.

WWE said fans can expect stars such as Seth Rollins, Becky Lynch, AJ Styles, Samoa Joe and Bobby Lashley, among many others, to feature at the event.

Tickets for the show go on sale at 10am on Tuesday, March 3 but presales begin this Thursday.

Simone Johnson, 18, has started training with WWE - following in the footsteps not just of her dad but her grandad, and her great-grandad too.

She will be the first fourth-generation superstar in WWE history.

"It means the world to me," Simone said in a statement. "To know that my family has such a personal connection to wrestling is really special to me and I feel grateful to have the opportunity, not only to wrestle, but to carry on that legacy."

The wrestling legend dropped his gloves, hat and trenchcoat in the middle of the ring at the end of Sunday night's WrestleMania 33.

The 52-year-old, whose real name is Mark William Calaway, lost the main event to Roman Reigns.

Fans have been paying tribute to him with the hashtag #ThankYouTaker and #WrestleMania has been trending.

Throughout his career, the Undertaker's been a multiple world heavyweight champion, a six-time tag team titleholder and a Royal Rumble winner.

WWE suspends Paige for a second time for 60 days over wellness policy

World Wrestling Entertainment hasn't revealed specifics of the suspension but one of the things the policy focuses on is regulating drug use in the sport.

She has been suspended for 60 days after violating WWE rules for a second time.

Her father has responded on Facebook.
