Two former Vanuatu Government Ministers have donated their gratitude payment totaling VT2.6million to the Torba province.

The now Members of Parliament are Matai Seremaiah of Luganville constituency and MP Jotham Napat of Tanna Constituency.

Seremaiah was emotional during his trip to the Torba province earlier this year where he found out that all the big villages on the larger islands of Gaua, Vanualava and Motalava have not been served well in the past.

He has indicated that he will visit the villages and islands next month to donate rural electrical lighting, church building materials, fishing gear, iron roofs and cement to the people.Seremaiah has assured that he will assist people of Torba.

Napat has also reiterated he will continue to pursue his plans for a larger airport and better roads in Torba province.
