Communist Party of China congratulates new Vanua’aku Party President Loughman

The Communist Party of China has congratulated the Vanua’aku party (VP) office and its new President, Bob Loughman. The

“I congratulate you on your election and I wish the VP under your leadership a greater success,” said the Vice Minister of International Department Central Committee of the CPC, Guo Yezhou.

He stressed that Vanuatu is China’s friend and partner in the Pacific region and the Vanua’aku Party has played a positive role in promoting social and economic development in Vanuatu.

“Your Party has also contributed to maintaining and developing China – Vanuatu relations,” Mr Guo said.

Since the Communist Party of China (CPC) and the VP established party to party relations in 1999, both parties have maintained friendly exchange and played a crucial role in enhancing mutual trust and understanding between the two countries and deepening the friendship between the two people.

Mr Guo said the CPC is ready to further develop exchanges and corporation with the VP and work together to make new progress in China- Vanuatu relations.
