Digicel Vanuatu in strategic partnership with VBTC for “Krismas in the Park” 2018

Digicel Vanuatu collaborated with Vanuatu broadcasting & Television Corporation (VBTC) in line with its strategic partnership with local media houses to officially launch the “Digicel Kristmas in the Park 2018” Monday.

The launch started off with a road show /parade led by the Vanuatu Mobile Force marching band right through the main town street ending at Sea front.

With a large scale event planned across 5 days, there are prizes for Best Dressed Community and Business house, special prize for Best Dressed group of children plus heaps of things to do for the little ones throughout the week with a special Children's Corner set up with Jumping Castle, numerous races and competitions and an opportunity to have their photo taken with Santa Claus/Papa Noel.

There are food stalls (! kaikai!)  With varieties of food, Christmas Carols & Competitions plus Trade stalls and various handicrafts by Mamas.

The public also get to enjoy Digicel’s Flash sale every evening from 6pm & 8pm at the Digicel tent where first 50 Customers get to buy Alcatel 1 smartphone at only 4000VT & Alcatel U5 at 5000VT.

This year's theme is "Sefti Blong Pkinini Hemi Fiuja Blong Vanuatu". (Your child safety is the future of Vanuatu)...and keeping in sync with the theme, there are special Pikinini's Photography Competition for the children throughout the week, encouraging kids to take photos of what this year's theme means to them with great prizes to be won for the kids that participate.

The program also spreads Christmas Spirit and embodies the festive seasons’ of giving via a gift for a children less fortunate where all or anyone can drop the gift off with Santa under the big Christmas tree throughout the week , and will be shared with Children of Prisoners, Children with Special Needs and sick children in the Children's Hospital.
