A new police sub-post has been opened at the White grass Airport on Tanna island in Vanuatu.
The ceremony took place together with the ground breaking of the Infrastructure works that will be done at White grass Airport.
This has been a long time negotiation with the Civil Aviation Authority , Provincial Government ,Care International and the Ever Green Resort.
The main reasons behind the establishment of the Police Post are the daily increase of tourist attractions, infrastructure and other economic development on Tanna.
The police sub-post will make the environment safer for everyone.
The police commissioner thanked these stake holders for their continuous support to the VPF and officially opened the post together with Minister Jotham Napat and the deputy Prime Minister, Jo Natuman before he performed a custom ceremony to the chiefs in Tanna.
