Adele's 25 still tops the UK albums chart

Adele is in line to smash yet another chart record with 25, which is set to become the fastest 2-million-selling album in UK music history.

The singer's hugely successful third album is currently poised at 1.97m sales, and looks certain to pass 2.5m sales by the end of 2015.

25 has also, unsurprisingly, recorded a fourth straight week at the top of the UK album chart.

Elvis Presley's posthumous album If I Can Dream is next at 2 in the album chart and Coldplay's A Head Full of Dreams falls to 3.

Justin Bieber is at 4 with Purpose and Jess Glynne's I Cry When I Laugh rounds out the top 5.

While there are no new entries in the Top 40, Ben Haenow's self-titled album moves up four places to re-enter at 40.

Adele is in the habit of breaking records at the moment, having matched her longest Billboard Hot 100 reign when 'Hello' managed a seventh week at number one recently.
