The popstar is featured on the song "Cold Water" by the EDM group Major Lazer.
It dropped Thursday and by Friday morning, it was the top selling song on iTunes with more than one million views on YouTube.
"Cold Water" is Bieber's latest collaboration with Major Lazer. They also worked together on his 2015 hit "Where are Ü Now."
Bieber seems to have pulled off a major music and image makeover following a series of boys behaving badly incidents in 2014 that ranged from egg throwing to a DUI arrest.
His recent "Purpose" concert tour was dubbed "the apology tour" featuring stripped-down singing and a more humble, believable Bieber.
In a possible reference to his past personal struggles, Bieber sings about getting high and getting lost on "Cold Water." But for true "Beliebers," all is forgiven.
One fan tweeted, "Biebs dropped yet another banger."
Another wrote, "Bieber has done it again."
