Sixty delegates from Digicel’s offices across the South Pacific will come together in Brisbane for Digicel’s inaugural Business Solutions Annual Conference, Digicel Business – Our Competitive Advantage, on June 27 and 28.
Gary Cobain, Head of Digicel Pacific ICT Business Solutions, will host the conference, which is being held for Digicel leaders in the Pacific Market.
The conference will provide a training platform for Digicel staff to increase their knowledge of business products and services to provide better solutions for Digicel’s business customers.
Gary Cobain said the conference was a sign of Digicel’s commitment to both its valued staff and customers.
“I’m so proud to be hosting Digicel’s first ever Business Solutions Annual Conference next week and am looking forward to sharing the plan for Digicel’s business growth with our leaders from across the South Pacific,” he said.
“There’s a great variety of small, medium and large businesses across the South Pacific that Digicel is proud to partner with.
“This conference will be a fantastic opportunity for our staff members to share experiences with one another and learn how to provide the best solution to our clients consistently.
“I’m looking forward to meeting many colleagues from other South Pacific offices and receiving their input for the Digicel Business FY17 plan.”
Conference delegates will have the opportunity to learn from many Digicel representatives over the two days, including speakers from Digicel Business Caribbean and Central America. There will also be presentations from Regional Senior Executives, Digicel Business Managers and guest speakers.
They will cover topics such as product technology, the advantage of customers using Digicel Business Solutions, and how to work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve a better outcome for customers.
There will also be a focus on staff upskilling and providing tips on how staff can advance in their roles at Digicel.
“A key take-out from this conference is for Digicel staff to better understand the very important role they play within our business,” Mr Cobain said.

The delegates will come from Digicel offices in PNG, Fiji, Vanuatu, Samoa, Tonga and Nauru.
