Following Digicel’s recent sponsorship announcement of Vanuatu’s most prestigious Amicale football team, Digicel and Digicel Amicale FC invited those living in Efate to join in on the team celebration to launch their new jerseys on Tuesday 27th October 20
The programme was filled with loads of entertainment and hundreds joined in to witness a road-show with the players, introduction of the full team on stage, live music, interviews with players, signed merchandise, photo opportunities with the players and heaps of games for children. A day full of emotions that brought the young and old to celebrate their new favourite football team, Digicel Amicale FC.

This season promises to showcase some key moments that will be shared with people all over Vanuatu. Digicel is delighted to see that so many people came today to join the celebration. He added, “The aim is to encourage and grow football in Vanuatu to become bigger and better in the coming years and we want to encourage the community to share in these important sporting events”.
