Teach your child to respect women

Just Play Vanuatu has played an important role this week to celebrate World International Woman’s Day in Vanuatu.

As always, Just Play organized kid’s festival to help children understand the meaning of life.

The kid’s festival was held this week in Luganville, Santo and also on the island of Emae, and Malekula.

Just Play coordinator in Vanuatu, Rorona Kalsakau praised the volunteers again for helping out to organize the three festivals to help the kids to respect their mum.

“One of the most important values you can teach your child is how to respect their mum.” said Rorona Kalsakau.

“Children, especially young children, learn to respect others by modeling behavior.”

“Children learn appropriate and respectful behaviour by observing the behaviour of those around them.” she said.

“Treat all of the women in your life with fairness and equality.”

“Treat all women in the manner in which you would like to be treated.”

“Value the women in your life.”

“Your child will learn to respect women from observing your respectful behaviour towards women.” Kalsakau concluded.
