Wallabies set to rise to the challenge

The Australian rugby captain Stephen Moore says nothing short of their best will do when they take on the All Blacks in this weekend's Bledisloe Cup Test in Auckland.

The All Blacks haven't lost at Eden Park since 2004 and it's been 30 years since Australia came home with a win in Auckland.

The New Zealanders are also on the verge of breaking the record for most consecutive Test wins by a top-tier nation - a win on Saturday would make 18 in a row.

Wallabies captain Stephen Moore says ending that streak will be a big challenge.

"They've been the best team in the world for a number of years and we're going to play them in their back yard, it's as simple as that, you've got to play well to win."

Coach Michael Cheika says his side has to embrace the challenge of playing at Eden Park.

"I look forward to it, bring it on, it's a great opportunity in a tough environment, but that's where you want to be. If you don't want to be there playing those sort of games, it's no good to have it all comfortable and rosey, when it's tough that's when you've got to stand up and I'm so looking forward to getting over there and getting into it, it's going to be great."

Meanwhile flanker David Pocock is looking forward to the challenge.

He's back after a month out with a hand injury.

"It's always a huge challenge for any time and it's no different this time, it's pretty exciting being a double header with the Wallaroos (against the Black Ferns) and that'll a bit to it and make it special."
