Ioane out for two weeks

Dynamic All Blacks wing Rieko Ioane will be forced to the sidelines for the next couple of weeks after dislocating his finger in Saturday night's 23-18 loss to the Wallabies in Brisbane.

Ioane suffered the injury in the 21st minute of the match with the scores tied at 7-7 and was taken from the pitch, but was able to return nine minutes later and see out the match.

However, on Sunday it was confirmed that the 20-year-old would miss some time.

UPDATE: @rieko_ioane dislocated his finger in last night's #AUSvNZL Test. Steve Hansen says he'll be out for two weeks.

The injury will see Ioane miss the All Blacks' clash against the Barbarians in London on November 5 (NZ time), with the touring squad set to be named on Monday.

His injury could open the door for the likes of Seta Tamanivalu or Julian Savea to get the chance to pull on the black jersey again.
