A Canberra man has pleaded guilty to selling drugs to the former Kiwis captain Jesse Bromwich and his New Zealand teammate, Kevin Proctor. The ABC reports Adrian Mark Crowther was caught by Police after CCTV footage captured him preparing a white powder on his phone before handing it to the two league players.

The pair then consumed the substance through rolled up bank notes, just hours after they represented New Zealand in the annual ANZAC league Test against Australia.

Today Crowther plead guilty to supplying the drugs.

The ABC reports Crowther also pleaded guilty to two fresh charges of possessing a prohibited substance and possessing a drug of dependence, cocaine and MDMA.

The court heard the 45-year-old had no other criminal record.

While both Bromwich and Proctor were named in court, neither has been charged with an offence.

At the time of Crowther's arrest, ACT Policing were unable to say whether police planned to pursue charges against the players, but NRL chief executive Todd Greenberg confirmed internal investigations were underway.

Crowther is expected to be sentenced in July.
