Greece government aiming for Sept 20 as election date

Government spokeswoman Olga Gerovassili told Greek state TV ERT on Sunday that "as things stand now, Sept. 20 is a feasible election date."

Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras resigned Thursday. Opposition leader Evangelos Meimarakis, who was asked to form a government, is expected to inform Greek President Prokopis Pavlopoulos Monday that he has failed.
