MSG Secretariat hosts historical MOU for Vanuatu and PNG

The signing Friday was done by James Melteres, Acting Secretary of the Public Service Commission’s Vanuatu Institute of Public Administration and Management (VIPAM), and Michael Barobe, Chief Executive Officer of PNG’s Pacific Institute of Leadership and Governance (PILAG), the government training institute for public servants.

The MOU sets a framework to improve public service delivery through a number of ways like capacity-building and relevant short courses, among others.

“The Pacific Mini Games will be taking place here in Port Vila, and as you know this capital city is governed by Port Vila Municipality which is under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. And it is a privilege for this city, which will be the face of this country. In fact, Port Vila is welcoming people from all over the world, Port Vila is hosting them, and Port Vila is farewelling them as well.

USP, Massey University renews MOU

The MOU is a fruition of the efforts made by USP’s Faculty of Arts, Law and Education (FALE) under the leadership of the Dean, Dr Akanisi Kedrayate and initiated by the School of Social Sciences under the Social Work Programme.
