Pacific Trade Invest (PTI) Australia

Advanced online workshop for tourism operators

While the advanced workshops follow the success of the Introductory Digital Tourism initiative, they remain free of charge and are available to anyone in the tourism sector across the Pacific region.

PTI Australia is working to increase the digital capacity of the Pacific tourism operators with the aim of driving local economic development across the sector, especially in the wake of COVID-19 and to ensure operators are in the best position when international borders reopen.

Uncertainty the key challenge facing Pacific businesses

The results have been published in the fourth  PTI Pacific Business Monitor Report.  The PTI Pacific Business Monitor is a regular survey that tracks the sentiment of businesses from across the Pacific region.

Expanding opportunities through digital trade

This was one of the key findings from Pacific Trade Invest (PTI) Australia’s third export survey.

Digital trade is currently estimated to be worth about $43 billion to the Australian economy alone. To enable exporters in Vanuatu to take advantage of growing digital trade market, PTI Australia will be delivering an E-Commerce Workshop in Port Villa on Friday 1 March.
