In an interview last week, the Bajan singer was asked if there would be any surprises during her performance at Arizona's State Farm Stadium.

"I'm thinking about bringing someone," she replied. "I'm not sure, we'll see."

Naturally, fans assumed she was talking about one of the many artists she's collaborated with during her illustrious career. A guest spot from Jay-Z, Drake or Eminem seemed both likely and in keeping with the half-time show tradition of surprise duets.

The singer will perform during the break when the Philadelphia Eagles take on the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday.

However, she did record a new song last year for Marvel's Wakanda Forever.

Rihanna - whose real name is Robyn Fenty - launched Fenty Beauty in 2017 in a partnership with luxury goods company LVMH.

The rapper described her as "the love of my life" in an interview with GQ.

Rumours over whether the stars were dating began as early as 2013, when the rapper supported Rihanna on her Diamonds World Tour.

"She amounts to probably, like, a million of the other ones. I think when you know, you know," he said. "She's the one."

The pair both featured in the ASAP Rocky's 2013 video for Fashion Killa.

Since becoming an official item, they have been trying to avoid being photographed together by the paparazzi, the article stated.

Eminem raps on his track Zeus: "And wholeheartedly apologies Rihanna for that song that leaked/I'm sorry, Rih, it wasn't meant to cause you grief."

He was referring to a decade-old song that leaked in 2019, on which he said "of course I side with Chris Brown".

Zeus appears on Eminem's surprise album Music to be Murdered By Side B.

The album, which accompanies January's Music to be Murdered By, was released on Friday.

She received a backlash online for using the song Doom by artist Coucou Chloe, which includes a Muslim text known as a Hadith.

Rihanna says the use of the song was "irresponsible" and an "honest, yet careless mistake."

A Hadith is part of a collection of texts believed to be the spoken words of the Prophet Muhammad.

After the holy book the Koran, the Hadiths are seen as some of the most important religious texts to Muslims.

The Arabic verse used in the song is part of a Hadith about judgement day.

The Bajan pop star, who now resides in London, overtakes Sirs Elton John and Mick Jagger to claim third place on the list of Britain's richest musicians.

Andrew Lloyd Webber and Paul McCartney are joint first on the list, with fortunes of £800m apiece.

Rihanna's earnings are largely due to the Fenty Beauty cosmetics brand, where her reported 15% stake is worth £351m.

"She somewhat caught us by surprise," says Robert Watts, who compiles The Sunday Times' annual list.

"Kia ora @jacindaardern!," she wrote.

The 'Diamonds' singer told Ardern her year could "get even better" if she pledged funds to the Global Partnership for Education.

"I hope you & @MFATgovtNZ agree that educating every child can change the world!" she added.

The organisation is working alongside Rihanna's own charity, the Clara Lionel foundation, to provide education for children in poor countries around the world.

The 'Umbrella' singer "grew tired" of the billionaire and "broke his heart", an unnamed source told gossip website MediaTakeOut.

"It was a good relationship, but now it's over. Of course Rihanna broke his heart. That's what she does: break[s] men's hearts," said the source.
