Spice Girls confirm reunion tour (without Victoria Beckham)

Melanie Brown, Emma Bunton, Geri Horner and Melanie Chisholm revealed details of the reunion tour in a video on social media on Monday.

Victoria Beckham, however, will not be taking part.

The girl group will kick off the tour at Manchester's Etihad Stadium on 1 June 2019, with tickets for all dates going on sale on Saturday at 10.30 GMT.

The foursome will also perform in Coventry, Sunderland, Edinburgh and Bristol, finishing at London's Wembley Stadium. They will be supported by Jess Glynne.

Spice Girls' Mel B in rehab for alcohol, sex addiction

The 43-year-old, whose full name is Melanie Brown and performed as Scary Spice, told The Sun on Sunday that she's been through an "incredibly difficult" six months in which she worked on an autobiography.

"It has been unbelievably traumatic reliving an emotionally abusive relationship and confronting so many massive issues in my life," she said.

Brown posted a link to a US government website to Twitter explaining post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) after she was diagnosed with it following an abusive relationship.

"Knowledge is power," the singer wrote.

Spice Girls to work together again

It comes after Victoria Beckham, Geri Horner, Emma Bunton, Melanie Brown and Melanie Chisholm were pictured together at Horner's house in Hertfordshire.

Mel C told BBC Radio 2 they had been talking about "opportunities and ideas" but there was "nothing set in stone".

Their debut single 'Wannabe' propelled the Spice Girls to fame in 1996 and they split up six years later.

The five members - nicknamed Posh, Ginger, Baby, Scary and Sporty - were accompanied at the meeting by their former manager Simon Fuller.

Mel B's ex strongly denies 'years of abuse'

Lawyers for Stephen Belafonte released a statement after the ex-Spice Girl was given a temporary restraining order.

She claims she was the victim of "multiple physical beatings" and that her ex threatened to destroy her career by releasing a sex tape.

Stephen Belafonte's legal team calls the claims "outrageous and unfounded".

They say: "When the degree to which Ms Brown has gone to create a false depiction of her marriage to Mr Belafonte is uncovered, real victims and survivors of domestic violence will be understandably offended, angry and upset."

Spice Girls' Wannabe remake pushes UN goals

The video, uploaded to YouTube, encourages girls to share a photo of themselves holding up a sign with what they want for the future, using the hashtag #WhatIReallyReallyWant.

It is part of the Project Everyone campaign, a United Nations-supported coalition of independent and corporate groups pushing a series of UN global goals including education, gender and wage equality and an end to violence against women.

Ready to Spice up your life?

Could the world's most famous girl group could be doing it again?

That's if comments from "Scary Spice" Mel B are anything to go by.

The 40-year-old former singer has sent Spice Girls fans into a spin after seemingly announcing that the five piece will reunite to celebrate their 20th anniversary.

Possible Spice Girls-Backstreet Boys tour

That's just one of the many mashups we would expect to hear when two ‘90s icons come together to make musical babies. And before you start calling us crazy and asking us if we need a ride back to the loony bin, you should know that a Backstreet Boys-Spice Girls tour might actually be a reality.

AJ McLean recently told Rolling Stone that the boyband has been flirting with the idea of touring with the girl group for a while now.

"The Spice Girls tour has been this idea bouncing around for the past year and a half, and it's something we're still talking about," he said.

Mel B is forcing the Spice Girls to reunite

Scary Spice confirmed that she is the driving force behind a potential comeback for the girl group in 2016 - and it will only happen if it's all five of them, Posh included.

"Nothing has been announced, nothing's official. Yes, we are in talks, because it is our 20th anniversary, and I want something to happen - it better," Mel told US talk show host Meredith Vieira.

"I'm forcing them a little bit - I've been saying it for five years. 'We are reuniting, aren't we? We are? We are? We need to!'"
