Miller Pata and Sherysyn Toko won all three sets against the Scottish duo Melissa Coutts and Lyne Beattie.

Vanuatu scored 21-10 to Scotland in the first set.

Scotland extended their points but was not enough to beat the duo from Vanuatu, who were scoreless in the second set 21-14.

Vanuatu then sealed their victory after extending their lead in the last set 42—24.

In the first match, New Caledonia was challenged by Wallis and Futuna but took the three set tussle with a clear 15-7 final score.

The ever-popular Vanuatu pairing of Linline Matauatu and Loti Joe came onto the sand next and dominated the Solomon Islands in two straight sets.

Matauatu struggled with her serving in the second set but their tactics were strong in play and helped them to a convincing win.
