VPMU help Police with preparation for open day

Vanuatu Project Management Unit (VPMU) presented a set of road safety awareness materials to the Traffic Section of the Vanuatu Police Force in Port Vila yesterday afternoon as they step up preparations towards the first ever Vanuatu Police Force Open Day

VPMU handed over the sets of material to the Police Superintendent James Aru Toka witnessed by other Police Traffic Unit Officers.

The materials included Tingting Rod Sefti posters, stickers, road traffic signs posters and Tingting Rod Sefti T-Shirts.

“We believe the materials will be of great value and use to the work of the Police Traffic Unit who continue to emphasis road safety messages through their awareness campaigns.

Building good road infrastructures is one thing, using them safely is completely another.

“Let's continue to observe the road signs installed under Port Vila Urban Development Project” VPM stated.

Vanuatu Police Force is preparing the Open Day which is schedule for 1st and 2nd November 2019.

The main Purpose of the Open Day is to display the VPF Capability and also marketing the Police activities to the Public.

VPF will join together with stake holders to carry out the event that is mandated in the VPF Business Plan.

VPF is also inviting the general Public, youths, Women and Children to come and joint in a Parade on that day.
