Tok Tok Vanuatu displays beauty of Vanuatu

TOK TOK Vanuatu is a very special event to display the beauty of Vanuatu says the Chief Executive Officer of Vanuatu Tourism Office, Adela Aru.

This year’s Tok Tok Vanuatu had 52 buyers from seven countries and 55 sellers from the provinces of Vanuatu.

Mrs Aru said visitors continue to increase and it is exciting to see new products developing and new infrastructure establishing in Vanuatu.

She thanked the sponsors for this event especially ANZ Bank for being a partner since Tok Tok Vanuatu began 16 years ago and others who have contributed significantly to the event.

Prime Minister Charlot Salwai who delivered the official opening speech, said it was perfect time now for wholesalers and international media to discover Vanuatu as a top tourist destination.

He said that a recent International Visitors Survey showed 95 per cent of people who visit Vanuatu recommended it to their friends and family to return.

He also said the natural environment of Vanuatu provides great natural attractions for the visitors.

 PM Salwai also assured that the government of Vanuatu will continue to look at measures that will protect the environment.

The event was held over two days recently.
