The Management of Digicel Amicale Football Club (FC) with the support of Digicel Vanuatu has announced an exceptional 27 member squad.
The announcement was made at the Digicel Head Office on Thursday 17th November 2016 to members of the press.
As Vanuatu’s leading Telecommunications Company, Digicel is proud to support a leading football team especially with Amicale’s impressive performances in the past years including Final appearances in 2011 and 2014 in the OFC League.
Yaser Maher, CEO of Digicel Vanuatu encouraged support for the new team, “Digicel supports sports in Vanuatu and especially football. We encourage people to join us to meet the new team for an entertaining afternoon this coming Saturday 19th November 2016 at the Port Vila Stadium at 1pm”.
He added, “We are proud to introduce the new team. We believe in the future of Vanuatu and its Digicel Amicale FC Team. Our intention is to help Vanuatu football to become bigger and better in the coming years and we want to encourage the community to share these important sporting events.”
