During Tok Tok Vanuatu 2016 in Port Vila last week, the South Pacific Tourism Organisation hosted a morning tea for local and international tourism partners, where chief executive Chris Cocker spoke about the role and mission of the organisation.
Organised by the Vanuatu Tourism Office (VTO) with assistance from the tourism industry, Tok Tok Vanuatu is held every year.
"We congratulate VTO on another successful Tok Tok event this year. It was productive for SPTO and I am sure the rest of the participants who travelled far and wide to learn, experience and discover what matters in Vanuatu," Mr Cocker said.
The country's most valuable tourism event brings in wholesalers from short and long-haul markets and gives them the opportunity to meet representatives of the local industry and experience the diversity of Vanuatu's 83 islands.
