Mrs May Garae and Mrs Ketty Napuat have won the 2016 Andy Lynch and Hanson Mataskelekele Awards in Vanuatu.
The awards are in recognition of their leadership and contributions to Vanuatu community.
They received their awards from the Australian High Commissioner, Jeremy Bruer, at an afternoon tea reception to celebrate International Women's Day yesterday.
Funded by the Australian Government, these awards are a joint initiative of the Lynch and Mataskelekele families and the Australian High Commission.
