Tok Tok Vanuatu 2016

This year, a lot of time, efforts, and sacrifice were devoted to Tok Tok by the entire staff of VTO, Iririki Island Resort & Spa, members of the organizing committee, event stakeholders, and partners.

2016 Tok Tok Vanuatu took place last week at Iririki Island Resort & Spa assembling close to 150 delegates ie. 92 sellers (local tourism operators) and 54 buyers (international wholesalers & media) coming from Australia, New Zealand, New Caledonia, the United States, Fiji Islands, China, and Italy.

Fifty-eight Vanuatu tourism operators and over 48 international wholesalers and media companies from 7 international countries are expected to participate in this year’s event, which is being held at Iririki Island Resort in Port Vila over four days until Friday.

Now in its 16th year, Tok Tok Vanuatu is organised by the Vanuatu Tourism Office with assistance from the Vanuatu tourism industry. This year’s theme is ‘Discover Vanuatu, make new friends and share laughter’.

The Vanuatu Tourism Office (VTO), with provincial taxes assistance from Head of Tafea, Sanma and Malampa provinces, are organizing for overseas delegates and wholesalers to travel to Tanna, Espiritu Santo, and Ambrym to experience our diverse and unique attractions in the outer islands.

The Opening Ceremony which is scheduled for Thursday this week at Iririki Island Resort, will showcase a flamboyant and colorful range of cultural wears and signature traditions from all 6 provinces.
