NZ reggae band ‘Katchafire’ to perform in Vanuatu

New-Zealand based roots reggae band Katchafire is excited about performing in Vanuatu as the country celebrates its 39th year of independence today.

The band will be performing at Korman Stadium in Port Vila.

The band arrived in Vanuatu on Sunday and visited Long Ifira Island Monday.

Band members were accorded a traditional welcome with an exchange of gifts.

Band member, Jordan Bell says they are currently enjoying their tour around Vanuatu.

“It’s very beautiful and I am very humble to be here. Looking forward to perform in Korman for the people of Vanuatu.”

Band members will also visit and present gifts to youths in Port Villa.

Katchafire has been spreading its  music around the world for 21 years and celebrated with the release of their 5th studio album “Legacy” mid 2018 which has spawned 5 celebrated singles “Fyah in the trenches”, “100”, “Love Today”, “Way beyond” and “Addicted”.
