Digicel is delighted to announce that one lucky customer has won VT 1 million dollars in its Christmas Millionaire promotion this afternoon.
Yanson Matalue, 20 years of Malo Island is VT1M richer and will have a brighter Christmas this year. Yanson is a student and lives with his parents who are farmers said he is excited to be the first Digicel Christmas Millionaire.
“This Million Vatu will go a long way for me. I am thinking to use some of it to build a new house for my family. I will use some of it to celebrate the festive season with my loved ones and buy food to share with them,” said Yanson.
Yanson was randomly chosen from thousands of participants in the competition during a live radio draw held at Digicel’s flagship store with members of the public, customers, invited guests and Telecommunications Radiocommunications and Broadcasting Regulator (TRBR) present for the draw.
