Vanuatu national senior team will start their training as VFF begins preparations toward the OFC Nations Cup in May 2016.
Head coach Moise Poida has requested all the players to return to training this week, starting Wednesday, 10 February at 5pm at Port Vila Stadium.
"I am very happy with the response from the senior players last year before we played against Fiji at Port Vila Stadium.” said Moise Poida.
“We want the clubs to release their players to come to training again and help us prepare well for the OFC Nations Cup in Papua New Guinea.”
Vanuatu is grouped with New Zealand, Fiji and Solomon Islands in Group B and the local boys first match in the competition is against Solomon Islands on the 29 May 2016.
The National Team is also planning to play one or two international friendly matches in Vanuatu before fly off to Australia for two weeks camp.
