Turkish scholarships available soon

Three ni-Vanuatu students are studying in Turkey at present and new Turkish Scholarships open beginning next month for more ni-Vanuatu to apply for.

While making the announcement, Istanbul-based Vanuatu Honourary Consul Mehmet Atar says in Turkey, they regard ni-Vanuatu students as part of “our family, our brothers and sisters”.

Honourary Consul Atar visited one of the students, Maureen Paul from Tangoa on Santo, in Ankara before last weekend.

“I am leading and helping them (students) for their successful future. As you may know, we have three Ni-Vanuatu students in Turkey. They are generally happy to be in Turkey and they will play an important part in the development of Vanuatu in the future,” he says.

He says all applications must be completed individually and electronically.
