The government of the People's Republic of China is expected to hand over the new building of Prime Minister's Office to the Vanuatu Government on Friday, 1 September.
The new PMO is one the projects that is funded by Chinese grant.
Both governments said that this year marks a milestone in relationship between the countries with the opening of the Chinese embassy in Port Vila recently, the new wharf in Luganville, the new PMO and the Korman Stadium.
A statement said China is yet to construct a building for the Foreign Affairs Ministry.
Malapoa College which is also funded by Chinese grant is currently under construction.
