Vanuatu’s first-ever Travel Expo on 2 Sept

The Vanuatu Tourism Office says the first ever Vanuatu Travel Expo will be held at Irriki Resort on 2 September 2017.

The objective of the Vanuatu Travel Expo is to bring the local Port Vila community to talk to meet tourism operators from all over Vanuatu.

The Travel Expo will immediately follow the annual TOK TOK Vanuatu event which brings the largest numbers of Vanuatu Tourism Operators together. 

“We want to encourage our local community to get out and about and explore all Vanuatu has to offer. We all know that Vanuatu is home to a great many wonderful experiences and we want to take this opportunity to encourage domestic tourism within Vanuatu”, said Adela Aru, General Manager of the Vanuatu Tourism Office.

“It seemed a natural to add an additional day to our TOK TOK event to allow our tourism operators showcase their products direct to a market sitting ”, she said. 

Representatives from every Vanuatu provinces will be at the show eager to help you understand how you can experience their special areas of Vanuatu.

Serah Ety from the Santo Booking and Information Centre who will be at the Travel Expo said, “Our team is excited about having this chance to help the local Port Vila Community plan their holidays in Sanma, Torba and Penama Provinces. We provide an excellent booking service and we can really help people understand what is available in Santo, Torba and Penama.”

Carolyn Ernst from Eden on the River, 15 minutes from Port Vila, said, “Eden on the River is the perfect weekend getaway for residents of Vila and their family and friends. The Travel Expo will help us get that message across. “
