In a ceremony at the “Pig’s Tusk” at the parliament complex, where official parliamentary ceremonies take place, Mr Salwai named the following in his cabinet.
Joe Natuman, the acting president of the Vanua’aku Pati and longest serving member of parliament was appointed Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Trade, commerce and ni-Vanuatu business.
His Vanua’aku Pati colleague and lawyer, Ronald Warsal, was appointed Minister for Justice. Mr Warsal has been one of the two key Unity Front lawyers fighting and defending recent cases on behalf of the Unity Front for Change.
