Port Vila FA appoints interim competition manager

The Port Vila Football Association aanounced the appointment recently.

Poida is a former national player and coach with Vanuatu Football Federation.

The 42-year-old is also the new Technical Director of Galaxy Football Club, having won the recent National Super League title as the head coach.

     

PVFA confirms fixtures for this week

PVFA also confirms that some of clubs now have only two or three matches to play before the end of the season.

The fixtures will determine the top four clubs to compete in the PVFA Top Four Super League and the winner to represent Port Vila and Vanuatu Football in the OFC Champions League 2017.

Tafea moves closer to Erakor

The win puts Tafea still second on the ladder but now have 29 points, 4 points leader Erakor Golden Star FC.

The Reds will now take on the most improve team of the season Siaraga FC this Saturday at 1pm and fans are encourage to come along and support football.

A win for Tafea against Siaraga this Saturday will see them move closer to Erakor Golden Star again.

Lolo Bahormal and Henry Silas were heroes after both players’ netted two goals each and one from Tio Mael as the Blues top Pool C with six points.

Clubs must pay their affiliation fees

In a circular to all club Presidents and media organization this week, Mr. Felix reminded the clubs to pay their football affiliation fees before the 15 of February 2016.

“There are 27 clubs potentially eligible to participate to play in the PVFA Cup 2016.” Said Mr. Felix Stephen, PVFA President.
