Fiji Rugby defers AGM

The AGM was due to take place on Saturday in Suva but FRU Chief Executive John O'Connor confirmed it will not go ahead this weekend, after Fiji reported five new community cases of Covid-19 in the past week.

He urged all affiliate unions, management and players to comply with Fiji's Covid-19 restrictions, and to stay home and be safe.

Mr O'Connor said all Fijians should wear masks when they are out and about in public, download the careFIJI app, wash their hands for 20 seconds and maintain physical distancing to help the fight against Covid-19.

Vanuatu sports federations to present limited reps for VASANOC AGM

The new arrangement has been confirmed VASANOC in line with Covid-19 protocols announced by the Ministry of Health.

The meeting is scheduled to take place at 5pm tomorrow (Thursday) at the Holiday Inn.

VASANOC said, “The Covid-19 protocols of hand washing, and social distancing will be strictly observed.

Covid-19 measures and plans for national federations are expected to be discussed at the meeting.

     

Vanuatu Table Tennis Federation to review ITTF membership at AGM

According to VTTF, the meeting will elect new board members.

Discussions will also focus on the 2020 financial report and 2020 Annual report from the president.

The annual general meeting will be held at 5pm on 16 April at the VASANOC conference room.

     

PASO AGM reaffirms strong commitment to Pacific regional aviation safety and security

There was strong participation at the Council’s first virtual AGM from Council Members, who reinforced their desire to support and promote the importance of PASO during the COVID-19 pandemic. The AGM was attended by nine of the 10 signatories to the Pacific Islands Civil Aviation Safety and Security Treaty (PICASST) and three Associate Members.
